An update on soccer last night for those that are interested:
To Be Confirmed had a very enjoyable last game, we ended up playing a new team instead of Mad Farmers which is good considering they complained about us last week :)
The Mob managed to win their Semi Final against ID 7-5 which means no Thursday game and more importantly we get to play in the Final on Sunday 12th March @ 5pm. ID are playing Ole' tomorrow night and the winner of that game will go through to the Final.
Players for the Sunday Final are: Jennifer, Paula, Liz, Lex, Nigel, Steven, David and possibly Kate
Any and all spectators and cheerleaders are welcome to come along and watch, but you will need to supply your own skirts and pompoms.

11:13 am - Semi Finals
|
Semi Finals are next week, unfortunately To Be Confirmed did not make it into the semi finals but we still have a game next week. I am waiting to find out what time but I will let everyone know as soon as I do. The Mob have made it into the semi finals and next weeks games will be as follows:
Tuesday 7th March @ 6.00 vs ID
If we:
WIN - Final on Sunday 12th March @ 5.05pm
LOOSE - another semi final Thursday 9th March @ 7.00 which we will have to win in order to play in the final as above.
Liz, Becky, Kate, Lex - can you please let me know what games you will/wont be able to make next week, I have asked nicely if Sheryl can play for us in the semi final next week if needed and Craig implied that it would be OK but he is going to check and get back to me.

8:38 am - Next Season
|
It appears after much discussion last night and due to a significant lack of available players and peoples uni commitments To Be Confirmed will not be playing next season (or at least not at the start of the season). It is our intention to have TBC play again at some point but it wont be until at least after the first uni semester.
TBC still has two games left this season, 6.30 next week against Mad Farmers and the following week is semi finals.
The Mob will continue playing with its usual players and I will be calling on available people from TBC if and when we need extra players.

This weeks game time is 6.30.
As you are probably all aware we get to play each other this week. The Mob vs To Be Confirmed, it should prove to be an interesting game.

I dont know which team I will be playing for this week, I know that Nick was trying to get Maizy to play for TBC and if that is the case they wont be needing me, if not I will most likely play for TBC so that the teams have even numbers.

Craig - I know you said you needed three weeks off due to injry and if my memory serves me corretly those three weeks are up, please let me know when you are good to start playing again and I will roster you back on.

We have been asked to play a free game on Sunday at 7.30 ANYONE who wants to play please let me know as soon as possible.

For once it appears that asking nicely actually works :) TBC is going to be moved back down to Div 3. They are currently in the process of redoing the roster at which point we will be moved down. Unfortunately in the mean time we will have to play a few Div 2 games, but if we play as well as we did yesterday this shouldnt be too bad.

As you may know from last week TBC have been put up a grade and are now in the same grade as The Mob. Correct me if im wrong but I believe that no one thinks this is a good idea, I have spoken to AISS about shifting us back down to Div 3 but have not yet managed to convince them. They have suggested that we have a few games in Div 3 and see how they go, so we will do that this week. If anyone has opinions and comments about this please let me know.
